PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS:

PRAY FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN NIGERIA:

Earlier this month, Islamists abducted more than 100 students from Bethel Baptist High School in Nigeria’s northern Kaduna state. The attackers arrived on motorbikes. While some students escaped, at least 125 are still missing after this latest in a string of mass kidnappings during the past year. “There are so many attacks and kidnappings happening in Nigeria right now,” said VOM’s regional director for Africa. “This is the 10th mass school kidnapping since December. Ongoing attacks by Fulani Islamic militants throughout Nigeria have resulted in the deaths and abductions of thousands of Christians since the beginning of the year. “Nowhere in Nigeria is safe anymore,” a VOM worker said. “People are being killed by militant Fulani Muslim men for no reason. They are not even safe in their own homes.”
