MISSIONARIES:
Pray for Seeds Planted by Belize Missions Team
Our Missions Team visited villages, brought food to families, prayed with them and passed out the Book of Hope. They put on a vacation Bible school in each village. They used skits, games, and other interactive methods of relaying the love of Christ to the children. Several children gave their lives to Christ during the VBS events. They presented the Book of Hope animated movie depicting Christ’s love and Biblical principles. They attended church services on Sunday where the team did skits and gave short testimonies. Brian and Pastor Dave both gave a message to the congregation.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for Pastor Manual Guardado and other pastors in the area of Orange Walk. The citizens in that area are steeped in poverty, addiction, abuse and witchcraft. The pastors need discernment from God on how to battle these conditions. The pastors often feel hopeless in trying to be a light in such a dark place. They know God is capable but need prayer to stay strong in their faith
- Pray for the children who responded to the gospel
UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS:
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Pray for Michelle
Michelle is the young lady who recently gave her testimony to our church. She is working with Live Dead — a group dedicated to reaching people groups who have had little or no access to the gospel. She is leaving to go to Jordan to begin language school. A young, unmarried woman in Arab countries needs our special prayer.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for her safe travels and a smooth transition into the culture there
- Pray for her protection
- Pray for her family here to adjust to her being gone. She is close to her parents. They are concerned about her leaving and where she is going
- Pray that she can quickly learn the language
