CONSIDER THIS: Matthew 9:37-38 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
The Father is in charge of the harvest, and it is his fields. He could send out the harvesters himself, however, he has given us the responsibility of the harvest. The success of the harvest is in our hands – our praying hands. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!
MISSIONARIES:
STEVE & KIMBERLY SNOW, MISSIONARIES TO CHILE
The Snow family minister in Santiago Chile with their children Kylee, Karlee, Katelee. Following is a message I receives from Steve. “Thank you for thinking of our family and for the prayers! We certainly need them!! We are currently stateside for itineration and what a challenge it has been! Learning to trust God in new territory! We serve in Santiago, Chile, building a children’s ministry center which will serve as a church/school for 450 children, and ministering to their families! Our biggest prayer need right now is that our budget can be raised in spite of the pandemic. We also need to remain healthy! Please pray for the country of Chile as they are now in their 4th month of quarantine. They are only allowed to leave their homes twice a week and must have a permission slip. Masks are also a requirement and failure to use one can lead to being arrested. We have Chilean friends from the ministry who are currently recovering from Covid-19. Please pray for health and healing! Pray for our missionary colleagues who are still in country and facing these difficult circumstances. We desire to return as soon as possible and need God’s will in everything!!”
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray that their budget can be raised in spite of the pandemic
- Pray they remain healthy, especially from the pandemic
- Pray for the country of Chile
- Pray for their friends in Chile that are recovering from Covid-19
- Pray for our missionary colleagues who are still in country and facing difficult circumstances
PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS:
PRAY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS IN SYRIA AND IRAQ
Christian populations in Syria and Iraq continue to dwindle. Syria has lost 75 percent of its Christian population since the outbreak of civil war in 2011, down to 744,000 last year from an estimated 2.2 million. Iraq has lost 87 percent of its Christian population since the Gulf war in 2003, down to 202,000 last year from an estimated 1.5 million. These are not just statistics – they represent the struggles of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Christians often end up in refugee camps and suffer from poor health, continued persecution, and little or no job opportunities. They badly need our support and prayers.
LET US PRAY AS IF THIS WAS OUR OWN PERSECUTION!!
