STEPHEN AND KRISTEN MCKNIGHT MISSIONARIES IN THE PHILIPPINES
In the Philippines more than 8.5 million children suffer from undernourishment which leads to lifelong mental and physical complications. The McKnights support local churches to host children for a meal and Bible lessons. Their ministry provides food, medicines, Bible study materials, and access to professional healthcare workers. Their church ministry results in feeding, evangelism, and discipleship for more than 500 children and their families each weekday throughout the Philippine Islands. PRAY FOR IRAN
Last month, the Iranian government suddenly raised gas prices and imposed gas rations on its citizens. Iranians were already suffering under runaway inflation. Iranians took to the streets in more than 100 cities, protesting the government’s decisions and demanding change. Many of those expressing outrage at their government are also rejecting Islam and seeking something better. The Voice of the Martyrs is standing with Iranian Christians during this difficult time, providing Bibles and ministry tools.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for churches and Christian ministries that are seeing expenses skyrocket,
- Pray for the wisdom and discernment of church leaders amid the upheaval,
- Pray that Iranians seeking peace will meet the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Pray for outreach ministries inside the country as well as broadcasting and internet ministries,
- Pray for the safety and protection of Christian workers.
