Shelly Downs has served as a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God since 2008. She joined the staff at Claremore Assembly in February of 2015 as the Discipleship Pastor. She has also been the leader of our Women’s Ministry since 2021, along with adult small groups and ministry support.
Previously, Shelly served as the Outreach Director for the Bus Ministry Program in Claremore for 15 years. Shelly has completed the Coach Approach training and enjoys helping others with personal budgeting classes, new ministry development, and more.
Shelly is married with two beautiful daughters, two gorgeous granddaughters and celebrated 40 years of marriage in April of 2020.
